We built MovingPro.io as movers who understand the trust our customers place in us. When you share your address, phone number, or moving details, that information stays with us and is used only to serve YOU. We treat your data the way we would want our own family's data to be treated.
Information We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to provide you with a moving quote and coordinate your move. This includes: contact information (name, email, phone number), moving details (addresses, move date, home size, inventory), service preferences (packing, insurance, add-ons), and account credentials if you create a customer portal account.
We do NOT collect financial information directly. All payments are processed through secure, PCI-compliant third-party payment processors. We never see or store your credit card numbers.
How We Use Your Information
Your information is used exclusively for: generating accurate moving quotes, coordinating and scheduling your move, communicating updates about your booking, sending your invoice and receipt, and providing customer support.
We do NOT use your information for marketing to third parties. We do NOT sell data to advertisers. We do NOT build advertising profiles. If we ever send you a promotional email, it will only be about MovingPro services, and you can unsubscribe instantly with one click.
We NEVER Share Your Data
This deserves its own section because it is that important to us. We do NOT share your personal information with: data brokers, marketing companies, advertising networks, social media platforms, analytics companies that sell data, or ANY other third party for commercial purposes.
The only exceptions where limited data may be shared: with our own crew members who need your address to perform the move, with payment processors to handle transactions securely, or if required by law enforcement with a valid legal order (and we will notify you if legally permitted to do so).
How We Protect Your Data
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information: all data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections, passwords are hashed using bcrypt (we cannot read your password), access to customer data is restricted to authorized personnel only, our databases are secured with encryption at rest, and we conduct regular security reviews of our systems.
Your Rights
You have the right to: access all personal data we hold about you, request correction of any inaccurate data, request deletion of your account and all associated data, export your data in a portable format, withdraw consent for communications at any time, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Data Retention
We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected. Quote data for uncompleted moves is automatically purged after 12 months. Completed move records are retained for 7 years for legal and tax compliance. You may request early deletion at any time, and we will comply unless retention is legally required.
Children's Privacy
MovingPro.io is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will notify you by posting the updated policy on this page with a new "Last updated" date. For significant changes, we will also send an email notification to registered users. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
